The Blair County Conservation District is hosting the first Annual Farm2Fork Dinner to be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6:00 PM—9:00 PM. The dinner will be served at the Railroaders Memorial Museum as a tribute to Blair County’s history. Also, to celebrate our strong agricultural heritage, we are sourcing farm-fresh ingredients from local farmers. Chef Mandi Horn with Horn O Plenty Restaurant will prepare the meal. Mandi has extensive “Farm-to-Table” experience and is currently working with local farmers to create a 3-course meal for this event. Finally, we booked a “home-grown” band—Mama Corn to entertain us with music rooted in Appalachia.
